A soft and chewy oatmeal cookie is so popular that I decided to make them even better by taking two oatmeal cookies and sandwiching them together with a delicious soft and creamy vanilla flavored filling. While I call them an Oatmeal Cream Cookie, they are also known as Oatmeal Creme Pies or Oatmeal Whoopie Pies.

    Hi Stephanie how are you?
    I have a question. Do I preheat the oven to 345 degrees or 350 degrees? I saw you putting the cookies in the oven and it said 345 degrees.

    this is a good idea to make Oatmeal Creame Pies Homemade I can make organic ones heathly and put them in plastic bag by selling them with a price set up bake sale station selling my own cookies my own Vegan heathly Oatmeal Creame Pies I will make money off it but Little Debbie is orginal I love those even more but it will be called Merritt Bake Sale.

  8. I made these last night. Loved the flavor. My husband thought the filling was better than the store bought. He doesn't want to buy them anymore. Next time I make them I'll have to take them out at 9min. My oven baked a little hotter and mine were slightly firmer at 10min. than I wanted. Thanks so much for the video.

    Hmmm. I followed this recipe to the letter, even used a digital scale for the sugars, and the cookies were crumbly, dense and did not spread. Though they were acceptably moist. I either need to tinker with this recipe or try something else.

    I believe it was Archway Cookies that made a soft oatmeal/apple cookie, they were delicious, wish I knew the recipe!
